JUICIO POR EL CRIMEN DE LUCIO DUPUY: PRISIÓN PERPETUA PARA LAS ASESINAS

La decisión del Tribunal de Santa Rosa dio a conocer la pena para la madre y la novia del niño asesinado. Las asesinas se negaron a escucharla en vivo. Aclararon que no tienen la posibilidad de pedir la libertad condicional.

Hoy a las 12, luego de un proceso que comenzó en noviembre del año pasado, en una audiencia que duró cinco minutos, el Tribunal de Santa Rosa finalmente condenó a prisión perpetua a las asesinas de Lucio Dupuy, Magdalena Espósito Valenti -la madre del menor- y Abigail Páez, su ex pareja. La decisión de los jueces Alejandra Ongaro, Daniel Sáez Zamora y Andrés Olié fue transmitida en vivo por el canal de Youtube del Poder Judicial pampeano.

Además, aclararon que no tienen posibilidad de salir en libertad, por el tipo de delito por la que fueron condenadas.

Se rechazaron los planteos de inconstitucionalidad de las defensas con respecto a la prisión perpetua.

Magdalena Espósito Valenti y Abigail Páez decidieron no presenciar la audiencia y permanecer en la cárcel, en el Complejo Penitenciario N°1 de San Luis. Tampoco estarán conectadas de manera remota. No tenían obligación de hacerlo. De hecho, el 2 de febrero pasado, cuando fueron declaradas culpables, procedieron de la misma manera.

Fuentes judiciales indicaron que se les va a comunicar el fallo más tarde, mediante la secretaría judicial y sus abogados defensores. Los familiares de Lucio no se encuentran presentes en la sala, así como familiares de las imputadas.
