Aval científico para la vacuna Sputnik V. Satisfacción en el gobierno nacional por la noticia
The Lancet, una de las más prestigiosas publicaciones del mundo va a publicar los resultados de Gamaleya sobre la vacuna Sputnik V
El domingo, en horas de la tarde, el presidente Alberto Fernández recibió una de las noticias más esperadas: The Lancet iba a publicar el informe técnico sobre el desempeño de la fase 3 de la Sputnik V. Al parecer, el informe es positivo, lo que alegró aún más al gobierno, ya que viene soportando críticas desde todos los sectores por la falta de certificación que tenía esta vacuna, dejando incluso en off side al propio ANMAT que la aprobó igual, aún a sabiendas de esto.
El gobierno necesitaba desesperadamente esta noticia por el fuerte rechazó de la población hacia la popularmente conocida “vacuna rusa”. Por eso la recibieron con alegría y salieron rápidamente a comunicarla a todos los medios. The Lancet es una de las publicaciones más importantes del mundo en materia de medicina, y lo que allí se publica pasa varias revisiones, por lo que se espera que la confianza que inspira sea trasladada a toda la sociedad. Y de paso nos ahorramos los circos de políticos vacunándose.
Esta publicación pondría fin a toda la discusión sobre la vacuna, o al menos eso esperan desde la casa de gobierno, en dónde el malestar venía creciendo por la constante ola de críticas a la decisión de traer la Sputnik. Aunque para ser justos, las críticas también se debieron a las promesas de Alberto de 10 millones de dosis, y de que la vacuna se iba a producir en el país. Lo de la efectividad y la falta de confianza fue sólo una de entre tantas cuestiones que la oposición trajo a colación.
En un año marcado por lo electoral, este tipo de novedades reposiciona al gobierno, que viene bastante alicaído en materia de buenas nuevas para la gente. Ahora sólo resta lograr que lleguen las dosis prometidas, aunque aquí el problema no es del gobierno, sino de Gamaleya, a quién la producción no le alcanza para cubrir los contratos cerrados. En todo caso, desde el lado de Alberto, los errores están en comunicar apresuradamente acuerdos que no están del todo cerrados.
Hasta el momento ya fueron aplicadas 370 mil vacunas en todo el país, no obstante, se espera poder concretar acuerdos con China para comprar 30 millones de dosis de la vacuna Sinopharm y así poder avanzar en el plan masivo de inmunización que propone el gobierno. Por el momento son propuestas, dado que todos los países productores de vacuna están teniendo problemas con la producción y entrega.
