Femicidio en Rojas: Úrsula Bahillo fue asesinada por su ex pareja
La joven de 19 años fue apuñalada por Ezequiel Martínez, miembro de la policía bonaerense. El femicida ya había sido denunciado por Úrsula y estaba bajo carpeta psiquiátrica.
Lo que no debía suceder, sucedió. El asesinato de Úrsula Bahillo puede leerse como crónica de una muerte anunciada. Denuncias previas y caso omiso de parte de la autoridad estatal, mensajes de desahogo y preocupación. La víctima sufrió de violencia durante meses, y las autoridades no actuaron a tiempo.
Úrsula Bahillo pasó a integrar nuestra estadística más lamentable: en Argentina una mujer es asesinada cada 31 horas, según una investigación reciente del Observatorio Mumala. El caso de la joven apuñalada es tristemente estereotípico: denunció a su ex pareja, un policía de 25 años, un portador de armas con carpeta psiquiátrica. Sus amigas y su madre relatan que en aquel momento la Comisaría de la Mujer se excusó diciendo que «no trabajan fines de semana». El alerta quedó encajonado, y hoy Rojas llora una muerte tenebrosa, y evitable.
Una de sus amigas, Milagros Almirón, relató como su amiga le contaba el calvario que vivía. En Twitter publicó conversaciones con la joven y se mostró enfadada ante el desamparo estatal.
El femicida citó a Bahillo a una zona rural, y allí perpetró el crimen: la asesinó a sangre fría. Martínez, quien ya había recibido denuncias, intentó quitarse la vida luego de apuñalar a su ex pareja. Sin embargo, sobrevivió y será juzgado por un tribunal.
En Rojas el enfado se hizo general, y los ciudadanos iracundos marcharon hacia la Comisaría local. Allí, al son de un unísono «Hijos de puta», se manifestaron contra la fuerza policial. La respuesta armada fue la represión: respondieron al ataque popular con violencia. Los videos muestran como los efectivos policiales emplearon máscaras, escudos, balas de goma y gases lacrimógenos.
El caso recorrió el país y será tratado en Junín, vecina ciudad del noroeste bonaerense. Hoy martes, se espera una marcha en Rojas a las 16 horas. El pedido es unívoco y contundente: Justicia.
