El operativo se inició en el departamento de Pueyrredón y continuaría con Villa Mercedes, Villa de Merlo y Justo Daract

El martes pasado la provincia comenzó con el operativo de vacunación en los geriátricos para inmunizar a la población de adultos mayores. Ayer miércoles se completó la vacunación de 209 residentes de 18 establecimientos correspondientes al departamento de Pueyrredón, donde se cubrieron establecimientos de la capital, Juana Koslay y Potrero de los Funes.

Por otro lado, se esperaba concluir ayer mismo con la vacunación de los residentes de geriátricos de Villa Mercedes y comenzar con los de Villa de Merlo y Justo Daract. Con este operativo, se cubriría la mayor cantidad de personas de riesgo que residen en establecimientos geriátricos.

La vacuna que está usando la provincia es la Covishield, desarrollada por los laboratorios Oxford y AstraZeneca ya que permite una mejor logística de conservación dado que se conserva en los 2°C y 8°C lo que la hace fácil de transportar, y no presenta inconvenientes como la Sputnik que requiere mayores cuidados en la cadena de frío.
