El mismo contó con 1100 efectivos y 200 vehículos, distribuidos a lo largo de todo el territorio provincial. El operativo se basa en la identificación de personas y vehículos.

Ayer martes por la noche fueron desplegados 1.100 efectivos y 200 móviles, en las seis Unidades Regionales de Orden Público. El objetivo, ligado al incremento de la presencia policial, es aumentar los controles identificatorios en algunas zonas señaladas por el Mapa del Delito.

Darío Neira, jefe de la Policía de San Luis, declaró a ANSL: “Es un trabajo en toda la provincia, una megaoperatividad distribuida en todo el territorio. Intervienen las trece Direcciones, las seis Unidades Regionales y las Asesorías de Jefatura Central. Todos los recursos están trabajando mayormente en la relación mapa del delito. En el indicativo donde hace más falta trabajar con mayor profundidad”.

Además, Neira afirmó que la zona sur de la ciudad capital es el punto donde más fuerte trabajan. «Es nuestra respuesta para los vecinos», manifestó.

Quien también prestó palabra fue Claudio Latini, subjefe de la fuerza. El comisario alegó que identificaron a personas y pudieron detectar a gente en la vía pública con antecedentes. Estos últimos fueron trasladados a las comisarías, según su jurisdicción.

Asimismo, identificaron automotores y motocicletas desprovistos de documentación o carentes de los elementos de seguridad.
