Merlo: comenzó la pavimentación total de Avenida del Deporte

El “Proyecto Integral de Pavimento Articulado, Badén y Cordón Cuneta» empezó hoy miércoles y se espera que esté listo en 6 meses. La obra fue inaugurada en un sencillo acto por la mañana.

Esta mañana vecinos, concejales y funcionarios acompañaron al intendente Álvarez Pinto en la inauguración de las obras en Avenida del Deporte. El proyecto era ansiado por los merlinos, ya que el cruce del Arroyo el Tigre quedaba muy dañado por el caudal de agua que dejaban las lluvias.

Desde la Municipalidad afirman que la obra tendrá un plazo de 180 días y requerirá una inversión de $36.976.324, a cargo de la Secretaría de Obras Públicas de la Nación. Según el Intendente merlino el proyecto será administrado desde el mismo municipio.

La pavimentación buscará completar, mediante bloques de hormigón H-8, el camino que une Avenida del Libertador con Avenida del Sol. En total serán 551 metros de largo y 6000 m2.

Además de la pavimentación y el badén en el mencionado cruce, con la obra se agregarán el cordón cuneta y la bicisenda. Gabriela González Rodio, Secretaria de Ordenamiento Territorial y Planificación Urbana, manifestó: «Este proyecto nos complementa no solo a nivel urbanístico ya que es una de las arterias principales de circulación norte-sur y mejorará la calidad de la trama, sino también como enlace de las actividades de la zona (CIC, Universidad Nacional de San Luis, Parque Recreativo) con los barrios Barranca Colorada, Pantanillo, Piedra Blanca, barrio Francisca Hernández, Pueblo Comechingón y Barranca abajo»

Por último, Juan Álvarez Pinto afirmo que el proyecto tendrá 5000 beneficiarios directos. Asimismo, buscarán acercarse a la paridad de género en los puestos de empleo: un 40% de la mano de obra será femenina.
