San Luis albergará el próximo Consejo Federal de Salud
La provincia será sede de la reunión del mes de abril. De la cumbre participarán las 24 jurisdicciones del país.
El próximo Consejo Federal de Salud -COFESA- tendrá lugar en nuestra provincia. Desde el gobierno ya preparan los detalles organizativos.
Al organismo lo albergan autoridades del Ministerio de Salud nacional y los titulares de las carteras sanitarias de las 24 jurisdicciones del país. El tema principal será la situación epidemiológica: Argentina entró en un proceso de escases de vacunas y a este ritmo de inoculación podría quedar desabastecida en 10 días. Así lo confirmaron en conferencia de prensa el jefe de Estado, Alberto Fernández, y la flamante Ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzoti.
Otro de los temas que preocupan a las autoridades sanitarias es la inminencia de una segunda ola de contagios. Debido a la delicada situación económica desde Casa Rosada descartaron volver al aislamiento. Se apelará a extremar las conductas de cuidado individual y la restricción de viajes al exterior, para disminuir los riesgos de recibir nuevas cepas del virus.
La última sesión presencial del COFESA había sido en Córdoba en febrero del 2020. Luego, con el decreto de la pandemia los encuentros adoptaron una modalidad virtual. Recién este viernes los integrantes del consejo volvieron a reunirse en la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Silvia Sosa Araujo, ministra de Salud provincial, manifestó: “Todos tenemos los mismos problemas y dificultades, por lo que las decisiones del COFESA son en beneficio de todos los argentinos”.
Además, agregó: “Estamos trabajando las 24 jurisdicciones conjuntamente. Si bien tenemos distintas improntas y también disentimos en muchas cosas, las decisiones las tomamos en conjunto, y eso es lo que queremos valorar, que trabajamos todos juntos en la lucha contra el COVID-19”.
