Adiós feriado
El gobierno suspendió el feriado del 24 de mayo para desalentar la actividad turística ante el fuerte aumento de casos de Coronavirus en todo el país.
Ayer el Gobierno nacional suspendió el feriado puente establecido para el próximo lunes 24 de mayo. El feriado puente generaba un fin de semana de 4 días, ya que se anexaba al Día de la Revolución, celebrado todos los 25 de Mayo.
Sin embargo, la incontenible propagación del virus en nuestro país fue el motivo por el que desde la Casa Blanca tomaron la impopular medida. El objetivo es limitar la circulación viral por el territorio, en detrimento de la actividad turística.
En nuestra provincia, el turismo es una de las principales actividades económicas y emplea a miles de puntanos. Por ejemplo, el último fin de semana largo dejó en nuestra provincia $472 millones. Sin dudas la medida será un duro golpe para quienes trabajan apostando a esta actividad, golpeada continuamente desde que empezó la pandemia.
La decisión ya fue anunciada, aunque se espera su confirmación en el Boletín Oficial de este viernes. En las redes sociales el descontento ante la suspensión fue masivo e inmediato. Acá les dejamos algunas de las reacciones:
