Malvinas: identificaron a seis nuevos soldados que estaban inhumados en las islas
Se trata del subalférez Guillermo Nasif; los cabo primero Marciano Verón, Carlos Misael Pereyra y Víctor Samuel Guerrero; el primer alférez Ricardo Julio Sánchez; y el gendarme Juan Carlos Treppo. Los restos de los argentinos permanecían en la tumba C. 1. 10 del Cementerio Darwin.
El Segundo Plan Proyecto Humanitario -PPH2- que lleva adelante el Comité Internacional de la Cruz Roja arrojó resultados fructíferos: los trabajos en la tumba C. 1. 10. del Cementerio Darwin, donde permanecían restos de varios combatientes sin analizar, permitieron identificar a seis argentinos que murieron en combate. Los restos examinados corresponden al subalférez Guillermo Nasif; los cabo primero Marciano Verón, Carlos Misael Pereyra y Víctor Samuel Guerrero; el primer alférez Ricardo Julio Sánchez; y el gendarme Juan Carlos Treppo.
La investigación en las islas tuvo lugar en agosto, cuando un equipo conformado por investigadores del Equipo Argentino de Antropología Forense llegó a Malvinas para continuar reconociendo restos de combatientes, luego de haber revelado las identidades de 115 argentinos caídos en el Primer Plan Proyecto Humanitario, en 2012. Los investigadores argentinos fueron dirigidos por Laurent Corbaz, el jefe del PPH2.
El mismo Corbaz expresó: «Pudimos identificar los restos de seis personas y dar respuestas a sus familiares, después de tantos años. Todas las familias merecen saber qué les sucedió a sus seres queridos; me conmueve mucho ser parte de este proceso y poner fin a la incertidumbre de las familias». De esta manera, tras casi 40 años de incertidumbre sus restos pueden descansar en paz, y podrán ser visitados por sus familiares: las familias ya expresaron su voluntad para elegir los lugares de descanso de sus seres queridos.
¿Qué pasó con los soldados?
La investigación reveló que los 6 argentinos murieron juntos: el helicóptero en el que viajaban se incendió y fue derribado en el Monte Kent. Además, se realizaron trabajos en Caleta Trullo, donde se presumía que había más restos de soldados argentinos. Sin embargo, no pudieron hallar restos o indicios.
