«Soy inocente»: así se defendió la Policía juzgada por asesinar para pagar el viaje a Disney de su hija

Comenzó el juicio contra Sonia Rebeca Soloaga, acusada de asesinar a un matrimonio de Parque Avellaneda en 2019. Les robó más de 70.000 dólares para pagar el viaje de su hija.

Sonia Rebeca Soloaga era miembro de la Policía de la Ciudad.

Ayer empezó el juicio contra la mujer policía acusada de haber torturado y asesinado a balazos en 2019 a un matrimonio del barrio porteño de Parque Avellaneda para robarle entre 70.000 y 80.000 dólares. Con ese dinero planeaba pagar un viaje a Disney para su hija.

Soloaga aseguró que es «totalmente inocente», que jamás entró a la casa de las víctimas y que no se hará «cargo de semejante locura». Sin embargo, la acusación de la fiscalía es contundente: confirma que golpeó a culatazos a ambos jubilados, los torturó para que le digan donde estaba el dinero y finalmente los asesino con un balazo en la cabeza.

La familia de las víctimas se manifestó al respecto: pidieron que la pena sea la máxima posible. El hijo del matrimonio, Mariano Chirico, afirmó: «La justicia será a medias porque justicia hubiera sido que no hubiese pasado la atrocidad que pasó. Estamos muy tristes porque mis viejos eran personas de bien. Mi vieja era profesora para disminuidos visuales y ayudaba a ver a la gente que tenía poca visión y mi papá también fue un trabajador de toda la vida».

Asimismo, la hija de los jubilados asesinados contó que el día anterior a la tragedia su madre le comentó que había una policía que solía ser invitada por su padre a la casa. El matrimonio solía dejarla pasar al baño y le servía café en sus rondas, pero los hijos de las víctimas contaron que en los últimos días Soloaga hacía preguntas muy sospechosas.

El estrado virtual

El juicio fue realizado de forma virtual. Mediante una plataforma de videollamadas Soloaga tuvo que declarar ante el Tribunal Oral en lo Criminal porteño. El delito fue caratulado como “robo agravado por haber sido cometido con un arma de fuego en concurso real con homicidio criminis causa, reiterado en dos oportunidades, cometidos mediante arma de fuego y alevosía, y falsa denuncia».

Los delitos por los que se acusa a Soloaga pueden ser condenados con cadena perpetua. La acusada admitió haber realizado una falsa denuncia -la misma decía que le habían robado su arma reglamentaria y $300.000- aunque negó haber asesinado a los jubilados de Parque Avellaneda.

Así se presentó a declarar la ex policía, desde el Complejo Penitenciario Federal para Mujeres de Ezeiza.

“Yo no me hago cargo de semejante locura, no me cabe en la cabeza cómo me pueden relacionar con algo así”, sostuvo la ex policía. Negó haber ingresado al domicilio de las víctimas y explicó que solamente los conocía por ser vecinos de la zona donde patrullaba.

En relación a la falsa denuncia, Soloaga dijo que perdió su arma reglamentaria y los $300.000 con los que presuntamente iba a pagar el viaje de su hija cuando fue a un baño en una estación de servicio. “Me equivoque con lo del arma, porque tenía miedo de perder mi trabajo. Me costó mucho ser policía. Amaba ser policía. Pero yo soy inocente, no me hago cargo de eso. Nada más señor”, exclamó la imputada.

Por los hechos también está involucrado Diego Alberto Pachilla, un ex policía de 37 años. Pachilla era pareja de la acusada en ese momento y se lo acusa de «encubrimiento doblamente agravado»: la justicia sospecha que la ayudó a deshacerse del arma y la ayudó a armar su declaración ante la justicia.

Por el momento, el juicio pasó a un cuarto intermedio. La segunda jornada será el próximo miércoles a las 9:30, según afirman las fuentes judiciales.
