Conversamos con Alejandro Nayi, quien desde hace poco nos cuenta sobre tecnología en las redes sociales. Para él, lo que le divierte lo ayuda a pasar tiempo con quienes ama.

Familia y equipo. A la derecha y abajo sus hijas. A la izquierda, su mujer. Todos forman parte del equipo de «Gamer y Domótica».

Con el paso del tiempo, las responsabilidades, y las profesiones, nos olvidamos de hacer las cosas que más nos divierten: esas que nos retrotraen a otro momento de nuestra vida. Sin embargo, Alejandro Nayi parece haber sido una excepción a esa regla.

El es médico anestesiólogo, esa es su profesión. Pero su pasión viene de mucho tiempo atrás: ni siquiera había terminado la escuela cuando descubrió su gusto y curiosidad por la tecnología.

En su canal, Alejandro comparte novedades del mundo gamer, pero también busca dar consejos prácticos, motivados por su deseo de ver cada vez más hogares inteligentes.

Sin embargo, es un hombre de familia. Y usa esa misma pasión y ese entretenimiento para interactuar y pasar momentos con sus seres queridos. Nada como divertirse en casa.

Tuvimos el agrado de conversar con él, y la entrevista se reproduce a continuación:

-¿A qué te dedicas Alejandro?

-Yo soy médico anestesiólogo y trabajo en el Hospital Policlínico de San Luis.

-¿Y cuando surgió tu pasión por la tecnología? ¿Tenés recuerdos de ese momento?

-De muy pendejo, cerca de los 18 años. O tal vez un poquito antes. Cuando terminé el secundario me fui a Buenos Aires a estudiar medicina pero no me gustó mucho. Volví a San Juan, de donde soy, y al año siguiente empecé medicina en Córdoba con mi hermano.

Ya previamente, en San Juan, poníamos música con un amigo. Íbamos a fiestas, cumpleaños de 15, casamientos. Eran equipos muy chicos, todo a pulmón. Lo que me enganchó de aquel momento fue todo el mundo del sonido y la musicalización.

-¿Qué pasaba a nivel tecnológico en esa época?

-Nosotros teníamos un amplificador que nos armaron en una casa de electrónica. Agarramos un par de «chanchas» y armamos unos bafles. Era la época del cassette: los usábamos para pasar música. Los discos eran muy caros para nosotros y no teníamos un reproductor, asique mezclábamos con un par de cassetteras.

Esto fue en los 80´s: no había ni CD ni DVD. Y eramos unos pendejos.

-Otro tiempo.

-Tal cual. Mi primer computadora la tuve en Córdoba: laburaba en un negocio y pude ahorrar unos pesos. La compré en 1989, y ahí empecé a aprender sobre el mundo de la computación.

La sala donde Alejandro se dedica a crear sus contenidos, y también a disfrutar.

-Excelente. Contame, ¿qué te motivó a crear tu propio canal de YouTube?

-Un poco tuvo que ver el armado de la habitación gamer. Empecé con una sola PC y la PlayStation, y después fui sumando cosas. Un amigo me armó una de las computadoras en San Juan. En realidad, la armamos juntos: me fui con todas las partes en el auto hasta allá para poder armarla con el.

Actualmente la setup está compuesta por tres PC y la play. Hay para todos los gustos: está para que jueguen mis hijas, yo y hasta mi yerno.

Hace cerca de dos meses pasó: decidí subir un video a Youtube para ver que éxito tenía. Le fue bastante bien y ahí me animé. Hablé con mi yerno y me dijo que había muchas cosas para mostrar.

Tengo muchas cosas de Domótica, porque siempre voy comprando cuando salen esos aparatitos.

-¿Qué sería la Domótica?

-La Domótica es la automatización del hogar: un hogar inteligente. Por ejemplo, es poder programar una lámpara para que se encienda a una hora determinada, o hacer que se prenda mediante un sensor de movimiento, sin tener que decir nada.

También es Domótica programar tu casa poder llegar y decir «Llegué», y que el sistema prenda la tele o algunas luces. No solo otorga seguridad y practicidad, sino que es cómoda para cuando estás fuera de casa. Además, ganás mucha economía. El dispositivo que comanda todo puede apagar todos los dispositivos conectados a la hora te dormir, y eso ayuda a ahorrar el consumo de energía.

–Me diste un muy buen pie para mi siguiente pregunta. ¿Consideras que informar sobre tecnología puede ayudar a la gente a mejorar su calidad de vida?

-Muchísimo. Fue el puntapié inicial para armar la página. No solamente es mostrar lo que uno tiene o ha conseguido con sacrificio, sino mostrar lo que uno sabe y transmitirlo a otros de forma simple y concisa, para que pueda ser entendido por el que no sabe o no entiende. De hecho, lo que sé lo adquirí preguntando y mirando videos de YouTube. Ahí nació mi entusiasmo, y la idea de poder transmitir esto.

Las creaciones de Alejandro buscan informar a los amantes de la tecnología.

-¿Cómo resumirías el objetivo de Gamer y Domótica?

-En parte es transmitir consejos útiles, lo que uno sabe. Y también es aprender sobre lo que uno aún no sabe, porque la gente pregunta sobre ciertos temas que no domino del todo y tengo que interiorizarme. Entonces, la idea es enseñar y entusiasmar a quien no sabe sobre nuevos productos que hagan más sencilla la vida cotidiana.

Estamos en una era de transformación total: ni descubrimos la rueda ni estamos al tope de la era espacial. Me gusta pensar esta era como intermedia, donde aparecen muchos productos aún desconocidos, que son alcanzables y prácticos para nosotros. Quiero informar a la gente para que conozcan esos productos, y puedan irse actualizando para que su vida sea más práctica y segura.

Lo de la seguridad es importante: hoy podes monitorizar y controlar toda tu casa o departamento, revisar a un niño mientras duerme o controlar el patio de tu casa a la noche.

–Excelente, se entiende claro. Me gustaría que me cuentes sobre tu dinámica familiar. Vi que solés jugar con tus hijas y quería saber si ellas te ayudan con tu canal.

-Si, muchísimo. Me ayudan mucho con las redes sociales: hay algunas que no usaba como TikTok e Instagram y me ayudan a manejarlas. Mis dos hijas más grandes me dan una mano con el canal, junto con mi yerno que también participa. Mi mujer también colabora muchísimo en el manejo de las redes y haciéndome propaganda.

Las chicas comparten los contenidos del canal, y mi yerno me ayuda con la edición de los videos. A pesar de que todos tienen sus cosas, porque van al colegio o a la facultad, aportan sus ideas y me ayudan mucho. Es algo muy lindo, muy familiar.

-Está muy bueno eso, que tus pasiones te ayuden a conectarte con tu familia.

-Totalmente, somos muy unidos. Mis hijas viven en Villa Mercedes, pero tenemos una relación espectacular. Con su mamá también me llevo excelente, y todos me apoyan con mi canal. Entre todos nos apoyamos y le transmitimos a los hijos ese mensaje de llevarse bien.

El hogar de «Gamer y Domótica».

-Te felicito por eso. ¿Cómo te sentís cuando estás en tu sala jugando o haciendo contenidos?

-Me siento inmerso en un mundo aparte. La sala fue creada con esa intención, porque está toda insonorizada. Me ayuda a sentirme aislado de la realidad que nos rodea. Es un espacio de relax y confort: puedo estar yo viendo una película y otro con la play, o podemos estar todos jugando juntos a algún juego. Es un lugar donde podemos estar todos juntos, aunque cada uno esté haciendo sus cosas: nos hacemos compañía y es un momento muy interactivo. Y cuando todos estamos desocupados, nos dedicamos a jugar algo juntos. Entonces somos tres o cuatro jugando juntos adentro de casa al mismo juego.

La pasamos muy bien: es un momento muy lindo para todos.

-¿Invitas a otras personas a jugar con vos?

-Tengo prometidas invitaciones para algunos amigos, ya sean de la vida o compañeros del quirófano del hospital. No nos hemos juntado por respeto a las medidas sanitarias, porque nos cuidamos mucho en tiempo de pandemia. No puedo darme el lujo de enfermarme: aunque estoy vacunado tengo que cuidar mi trabajo y mi familia.

-¿Consideras a «Gamer y Domótica» un emprendimiento?

-Si, totalmente. No es que soy millonario y me armé esta setup, ni me saqué la lotería. Como les dije a mis amigos, esto es ahorro de muchos años, casi diez. En ese tiempo guardé plata o compré algún dólar, mientras mi amigo de San Juan me avisaba de ofertas o descuentos para aprovechar.

No saqué un millón de pesos del bolsillo y me armé la setup gamer. Soy un laburante que se rompe el lomo todos los días: a mis 53 años laburo muchísimo. Este es mi emprendimiento, y mi cable a tierra. Lo considero como el fruto de mi trabajo, y es muy lindo mostrarlo para que otros lo vean, aprendan, me comenten y me dejen interactuar con ellos.
