Según la Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica tales dispositivos podrán adquirirse únicamente en farmacias. El resultado debe reportarse mediante el uso de un código en las 24 horas posteriores a la realización del test.
La Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica -ANMAT- aprobó la venta y utilización de 4 test de autoevaluación para el Covid-19. Los dispositivos son importados y pertenecen a los laboratorios Abbott, Roche, Vyam Group y Wiener: aún no están disponibles en farmacias, el único lugar habilitado para su expendio.
El Ministerio de Salud explicó que el resultado es de «orientación diagnóstica» y debe ser reportado mediante un código en las 24 horas posteriores a la realización del test. La incorporación de estos test era una demanda del sector privado para aumentar el autocuidado en el contexto de pandemia, y tuvo el visto bueno tras la última reunión del Consejo Federal de Salud -COFESA-.
¿Cómo adquiero el test?
Los test para detección de Coronavirus podrán adquirirse de forma individual, mediante instituciones públicas y/o privadas. Desde la cartera sanitaria remarcaron la importancia de que «se garantice el adecuado reporte de resultados».
En principio, las pruebas tienen un valor de «resultado orientativo», aunque no se habla de un diagnóstico concluyente. Dependerá de cada jurisdicción, en acuerdo con el Ministerio de Salud y en función de su situación epidemiológica, tomar el resultado como positivo.
Según cada fabricante, los testeos se hacen a nivel nasal o salival: es la gran diferencia con los testeos ya conocidos, que buscan muestras a nivel nasofaríngeo. Una vez tomada la muestra debe hacerse la prueba de forma inmediata para evitar resultados erróneos.
¿Qué hago con el resultado?
El Ministerio de Salud explicó que si el resultado es negativo la infección no está descartada: los autotest pueden fallar si la persona es asintomática o si su carga viral es muy baja. Reportar el resultado es obligatorio, y se hace mediante un código presente en el empaque de cada dispositivo.
Los resultados se cargan a una base de datos farmacéutica, y luego se informan al Sistema Nacional de Vigilancia de Salud -SNVS-. Los casos positivos pasan a integrar la clasificación de casos positivos para Covid-19, mientras que los negativos quedarán como «sin clasificar».
Los test inválidos deben repetirse para confirmar el resultado. Además, si el farmacéutico no recibe el reporte del usuario tras realizar el test debe reportar esa situación a las autoridades sanitarias de su jurisdicción.

During the climb, these “buddies” will do anything to distract their clients from feeling exhausted and push them to keep going: from singing, telling jokes, playing music, verbal encouragement, going so far as carrying their bags, holding their hands, and pulling them.
A day on the mountain
Chen and her climbing buddy’s adventure began at around 8:00 pm so she could arrive at the peak in time for the famous sunrise. After assessing her fitness level, her climbing buddy planned a moderate route and carried her backpack the whole way.
When they faced chilling winds at the peak, Chen’s climbing buddy rented a thick coat for her while directing her to a walled shelter.
At the moment the sun rose, Chen’s climbing buddy was already prepared with a national flag and other props so that she could take a memorable photo. Though she felt his photography skills still had room to improve, she rated her climbing buddy as “satisfactory.” The service cost her 350 yuan ($49).
Though Chen paid a typical price for a climbing buddy, she acknowledges that more good-looking buddies can command higher rates.
“Attractiveness is also part of their strength,” she says.
